It’s funny putting weird ideological stuff like this in your speech when you invite a bunch of capitalist countries.

It’s a chad flex. The capitalists have to sit there quietly and listen to him praise Marxism-Leninism-Mao Zedong Thought.

That’s the point of Chinese diplomacy - respect their sovereignty while using dialogue, trade, and economic influence to promote your political ideology. No coups, no invasions, no policing the world, just leading by example. Now, I am under no illusion that capitalist leaders are gonna have a change of heart and become communists. They won’t listen, but their people will. And that’s the point. People in this country will one day have a realization - “that’s the civilized world, that’s how diplomacy is done, that’s how you run a society and an economy - by the people, for the people, and we can have that for ourselves too”, which is exactly what the PRC is planning for.

Most governments don’t really mention ideological stuff when they have foreign guests I would assume. I feel like he usually says this stuff in the CPC anniversary speeches. Maybe he did it at the last military parade too but idk. But I guess the CPC does stress the importance of keeping the military political.
