All my fellow Chinese across the nation,
Your Excellencies heads of state and government and representatives of international organizations,
Distinguished guests,
All officers and soldiers participating in the parade,
Comrades and friends,
Today, we gather here to solemnly commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. It is an occasion for us to remember history, honor fallen heroes, cherish peace and create a better future.
On behalf of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the National People’s Congress, the State Council, the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and the Central Military Commission, I pay high tribute to our veteran soldiers and comrades, patriots and officers who fought in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and to the Chinese nationals from home and abroad who made important contributions to our victory. I express my sincere thanks to foreign governments and friends that supported and assisted the Chinese people in resisting aggression. I also extend a warm welcome to our guests from around the world who are with us today.
Comrades and friends,
The Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression was a great war fought with tenacity and valor. Under the banner of the national united front against Japanese aggression established at the initiative of the CPC, the Chinese people stood up to fight the formidable enemy with an iron will, formed a great wall with flesh and blood to defend the nation, and ultimately achieved the first complete victory in resisting foreign aggression in modern times.
The Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression was an important part of the World Anti-Fascist War. With huge national sacrifice, the Chinese people made major contributions to saving human civilization and safeguarding world peace.
History cautions us that humanity rises and falls together. Only when all countries and nations treat each other as equals, coexist in peace and support each other, can we uphold common security, eradicate the root cause of war and prevent the recurrence of historical tragedies.
Comrades and friends,
The Chinese nation is a great nation that is never intimidated by any bullies and always values independence and forges ahead. In the past, when faced with critical struggles between good and evil, light and darkness, progress and reaction, the Chinese people rallied together to defy the enemy. They fought for the survival of the country, for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and for justice of the whole humanity. Today, humanity again has to choose between peace and war, dialogue and confrontation, win-win cooperation and zero-sum game. The Chinese people firmly stand on the right side of history and the progress of human civilization. We will remain committed to the path of peaceful development, and join hands with all peoples around the world in building a community with a shared future for humanity.
The Chinese People’s Liberation Army has been, and will always be, the heroic armed forces that the Party and the people can fully trust and rely on. All service members should faithfully perform their sacred duty, speed up the building of a world-class military, and firmly safeguard China’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity. All service members should provide strategic support for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and make greater contributions to the peace and development of the world.
History carries the legacy of the past and inspires the future. On the new journey in the new era, the Chinese people of all ethnic groups should, under the strong leadership of the CPC, follow Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Theory of Three Represents and the Scientific Outlook on Development, and fully implement the Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era. We should stay firmly on the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and carry forward the great spirit of the War of Resistance. We should press ahead with enterprise and resolve, and advance in unity the cause of building China into a great country on all fronts and realizing great national rejuvenation through Chinese modernization.
The great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is irresistible! The noble cause of peace and development of humanity will prevail!
After the parade a reception was held, and Xi Jinping gave another short speech there:

Distinguished Guests, Friends and Comrades,
At the outset, on behalf of the Chinese government and people, let me extend a hearty welcome to you all. My warmest congratulations to all those present, to our fellow compatriots of all ethnic groups, and to the people around the world, on this victory commemoration day.
Eighty years ago, the Chinese people thoroughly defeated the Japanese militarist aggressors after fighting a bitter and heroic war of resistance for 14 years. This marked the complete victory of the World Anti-Fascist War. It was a historic turning point for the Chinese nation emerging from the grave crises in modern times to embark on the journey toward great rejuvenation; it was also a major turning point in the course of world history.
The Chinese people won the great victory through their united efforts with the anti-fascist Allied forces and the people around the world. The Chinese government and people will never forget the foreign governments and international friends who supported and assisted the Chinese people in resisting aggression.
This morning, we held a grand military parade in solemn commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Our purpose is to remember history, honor fallen heroes, cherish peace, and create a better future.
History cautions us that we must remain unwavering in our conviction in justice, unyielding in our commitment to peace, and unshakable in our confidence in the insurmountable strength of the people.
Might may rule the moment, but right prevails forever. Justice, light and progress will inevitably triumph over evil, darkness, and regression. At all times, we must advocate the common values of humanity, resolutely defend international fairness and justice, and ensure righteousness prevails and brightness shines in our world.
We humans all share the same planet. We must pull together in solidarity and harmony, and ensure that the law of the jungle never makes a comeback. At all times, we must always commit to the path of peaceful development, stay resolved to safeguard global peace and tranquility, and work together to build a community with a shared future for humanity.
The people are the creators of history, and the pursuit of a better life is a shared aspiration of all nations. At all times, our hearts must be with the people, our work must be for the people, and we must do our best to improve the well-being of all the people.
Chinese modernization follows the path of peaceful development. China will always be a force for peace, stability and progress in the world. We sincerely hope that all countries will draw wisdom from history, value peace, jointly advance world modernization and create a better future for humanity.
Now, please join me in a toast:
To the great victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War; and
To a bright future of enduring peace and shared prosperity for all humanity.
Cheers!

It’s funny putting weird ideological stuff like this in your speech when you invite a bunch of capitalist countries.
It’s a chad flex. The capitalists have to sit there quietly and listen to him praise Marxism-Leninism-Mao Zedong Thought.
That’s the point of Chinese diplomacy - respect their sovereignty while using dialogue, trade, and economic influence to promote your political ideology. No coups, no invasions, no policing the world, just leading by example. Now, I am under no illusion that capitalist leaders are gonna have a change of heart and become communists. They won’t listen, but their people will. And that’s the point. People in this country will one day have a realization - “that’s the civilized world, that’s how diplomacy is done, that’s how you run a society and an economy - by the people, for the people, and we can have that for ourselves too”, which is exactly what the PRC is planning for.
Except this speech will be overshadowed by how they served Taiwanese Uighur-Tibetan-liver at the event. It’s already being overshadowed by Xi and Putin discussing necromancy. https://lemmygrad.ml/post/9008185
You can’t lead by example if no one can see your example.
Taiwanese
Don’t care about fascist remnant governments. I literally could care less when they are more brutal to their people than the CPC ever was. Hopefully their government does what is best for their people and surrenders unconditionally to the Chinese mainland.
Uighur
Still parroting the U.S state department narrative that was adopted from the fucking actual lunatic Adrian Zens? Cool. https://www.reddit.com/r/TheDeprogram/wiki/index/debunking/uyghur-genocide
Tibet
I feel no sympathy for religious theocratic governments that had religious slaves. People of Tibet are freer now then they ever were under religious dogma.

What?
Slightly unserious, here.
I think Aria means that the bourgeois states will spread propaganda to their people and no one will hear Xi’s speech. I don’t think they think that China did any of that
When I made this comment, multiple other people had responded being mildly confused and even questioning you on it. Upon seeing this now, I apologize.
Yeah, that makes more sense. There was multiple comments when I first made this questioning it with none of Aria’s replies yet. Didn’t see any of those upon making this comment.
I think the person you are responding to was making a joke.
When I made this comment, multiple other people had responded being mildly confused and even questioning you on it. Upon seeing this now, I apologize.
Yeah, I realize that now. Gonna keep it up because I’m not a fan of deleting content but I wasn’t aware as there wasn’t any replies from Aria at the time. My bad.
To be fair, it can be hard to recognize sarcasm in written form sometimes. That’s why we have /s. Perhaps the OP should have used it.
They mentioned they weren’t being satirical. Now I’m confused.

Brother…
When I made this comment, multiple other people had responded being mildly confused and even questioning you on it. Upon seeing this now, I apologize. The slightly unserious part I was referencing to what I thought was a remark on “chinese organ-trafficking” with the “liver” part.
Fucking A+ tier satire. God damn.
I wasn’t being satirical, it is my honest concern. I just used an outlandish example of a counter narrative because it barely matters how stupid the counter-narrative is.
China’s ability to tell their own story and have that heard is far weaker than the west’s, even measured against the fraction of the west’s narrative that is specifically focused on labelling China. It’s not a problem that’ll be fixed quickly.
(I don’t want to downplay progress either, China’s image in the global south has improved recently, but that doesn’t mean that global south residents are going to disbelieve specific allegations they hear from western sources).
Your honest opinion strangely matches up with concerns of the U.S State Department.
In May 26 2025, a Chinese research team has successfully grown five types of bioartificial organs, including the liver, heart, kidneys, lungs, and skin, in petri dishes using cell culture and 3D printing technologies. So… China doesn’t need organ trafficking as you conspiracy theorist suggest. Source(1, 2)
Oh, btw, the US is the one that destroys countries like Haiti and turns them into massive organ trafficking regions:
Don’t project the vile empire’s cruelty on to China.
Does my comment read as if I believed organ harvesting to be real? It’s a commonly repeated talking point from liberals.
Sadly, yes. If possible, could you edit this to avoid more misunderstandings?
Except this speech will be overshadowed by how they served Taiwanese Uighur-Tibetan-liver at the event.
You’re being silly. The implication is that there’s a sizeable population of people with both Uighur and Tibetan recent ancestry who live on Taiwan.
I didn’t get that impression at all myself truthfully, but I may just be bad at reading context.
Weird how exactly?
Most governments don’t really mention ideological stuff when they have foreign guests I would assume. I feel like he usually says this stuff in the CPC anniversary speeches. Maybe he did it at the last military parade too but idk. But I guess the CPC does stress the importance of keeping the military political.
China isn’t exactly hiding the fact that it’s a Marxist state.
