Yea I wonder how it would go down if it really came to it. Unlike Ukraine they obviously don’t have a land corridor to anywhere, the CPC just take over by controlling what is allowed to get to the island via a naval blockade or similar. It isn’t like the US could do anything.

That’s my expectation as well, the mainland doesn’t need to do any kind of a ground invasion. Taiwan imports 90% of its energy, so a blockade would collapse them in weeks.
