Yea I wonder how it would go down if it really came to it. Unlike Ukraine they obviously don’t have a land corridor to anywhere, the CPC just take over by controlling what is allowed to get to the island via a naval blockade or similar. It isn’t like the US could do anything.
Another factor is the collapse in Ukraine. Everybody in Taiwan can see that this is the fate that would await them as well if they continue down the path they’re on now.
For the Taiwan question, we can be very happy that the US power projection is collapsing now at this time. The US knows it needed at least one or two more decades of NGO funding and education intervention on the island to curate separatism among the newer generations. The issue is that Taiwans economy is not doing too well and the jobmarket for younger people isn’t getting better. Reunification is looking nicer and nicer by the day.

I am typing this quickly and might expand later. But I wonder how much we can owe it to the novelty of an idea. Much of the working class of the imperial core is materially conditioned towards rejecting socialism, because they are heavily influenced from birth with scaremongering. This was not the case when the Bolsheviks and Lenin organized the revolution in 1917.
A lot of it has to do with Google dropping the ball a little with regards to the newer Pixel models as well. Not only are they sacrificing some of the hardware security features to reduce costs, they are also making it increasingly hard for GOS to properly patch and maintain the security architecture. Essentially they need another manufacturer, otherwise things are not looking good long term.
