A demographic of Bernie bros that were disenfranchised voted R in the presidential. Biden won in '20 because RNC scaled their efforts based on '16 numbers where DNC stubbed their own toes.

Let’s say you want 1000 units. Lets say normal QC takes out 20% of units produced, now your manufacturer needs to make around 1250 units to ship. Walmart says they’re only going to pay $x, and the manufacturer squeezes that buck by lowering QC on the run for wally to only kick out 10% of the units so they only need to make 1100. There was a study in Australia where they found helmet laws didn’t increase rider safety. What they found was visually appearing safer (I’ve experienced this personally with helmet and hivis vest) drivers would get closer to riders. Some kind of perceived safety margin effect.
