    Except it’s not.

    The Dems do the GOP’s job, yes, but they do it quietly and without ceremony where the GOP loudly proclaims it from the rooftops.

    But the Dems are having a much harder time doing this as things get worse. There will come a moment within the near future when they can no longer pretend they’re the “good guys” because the average person isn’t going to fall for it anymore. There will be no return to normalcy.

      Given what the average person has fallen for to-date, I don’t share your optimism on this. Democrats openly and explicitly supported an ongoing genocide last election, I fail to see how much further there is to fall.

        Except they weren’t open about it. That’s why so many people abandoned them in the election: they refused to admit a genocide was happening, lied about trying to stop it, and pretended it was all just anti-terrorism.

        And people did not fall for it. The smoke cleared and the mirrors shattered - just enough that Harris lost millions of the same voters Biden won with.

        People are waking up; it’s just slower than we’d like.
