It’s a Fortune article. Their whole thing is keeping the class war active and right now a great way to do that is to make the older, capital owning generation, pissed off at the young ones so that they don’t think for a second this whole “widening wealth gap” thing might be unfair and oppressive.
laziness is a feature, not a bug, and it’s literally how our brains are wired.
(e: also it’s literally a study into generational differences. empirical data showing there is a difference in mindset. if you think that’s shitting on boomers then it’s you who made the value judgement in the first place. also if you read the article, if anything, it’s shitting on gen z for not getting work done on time.)
Chicagodog and a couple of others here have never worked a job that requires even minimal collaboration, at least not in a time sensitive manner. Basic community effort skills would be necessary to get any task accomplished even in a labor-free communist paradise.

Zealots didn’t commit genocide, and no credible scholar says they did. You’re just making things up. The Zealots used violence and rebellion, but nothing they did comes remotely close to the ethnic violence carried out under Zionism. If you have a credible source (you don’t lol) go ahead and share it. (For the record, they did use terrorism, but that’s not genocide. Learn the difference.)

this is sadly one of the jordanlund communities. this isn’t a politics community so much as a place for that mod team to screw around—there isn’t even a full “misinformation” rule, it’s all lumped under “no memes trolling or low effort.”
this is a massive community that is understaffed—id guess mods look at each report for all of 3 seconds and only act on the obvious violations. it shouldn’t be this way, but you kind of have to operate within the rules if you want to have any positive effect. that user who is doing dogwhistles knows this, and took advantage of your low hanging fruit of uncivil language to get a free pass to stay under the radar.

At one point, the bill text included anti-refugee, anti-CRT, and other controversial provisions that Republicans added, but those were fortunately removed.
However, the anti-trans language was reportedly “slipped in” during the final stages and didn’t even appear in the bill summary. The bill itself has been described as “must pass,” which means it’s prioritized regardless of what’s in it.
Final takeaway: Bad actors in Congress added the language, and Biden didn’t care enough about trans rights to thoroughly review it.
