Putting the divider down is also polite. Why are we expected to always be the most polite or suffer cruelty if we don’t comply?
I always put the divider down behind my stuff, line behind me or no, and expect nothing in return from the people behind me. If the person in front of me can’t be arsed to put the divider down after their stuff, it’s fun to see how many of my items get scanned before they get to have an awkward conversation with the cashier. Yes I’m normal and well adjusted, why do you ask?
When I studied German a bit for fun I gave up on trying to memorize the genders and just used “das” for everything. Yeah it’s wildly incorrect but still mostly understandable which is fine for me.
4·2 months agoI’m sure you have a bunch of songs you don’t mind hearing over and over, so it’s not that different to enjoy your environment even if it’s mostly the same every day.

14·3 months agoNothing spectacular comes to mind, but I’ve seen a couple of drivers backing up on the motorway after missing their junction, so maybe that.
e: Dumbest thing I’ve done has to be dropping out of university out of spite.
All of this is true, but I still have zero sympathy for bike thieves. Go steal memory cards from a supermarket or something, leave other regular folks property alone you fucks.

I never understood art really…
There’s a shitty horror flick called The Hand from the early eighties. Michael Caine is in it, hamming it for the paycheck I suppose but still kinda cool even if the movie is pretty bad. Anyway, there’s a terrible effects shot of the titular crawling hand pushing its way through the plumbing in a shower, and I still sometimes have nightmares of that scene decades later. 5 year old me was not ready.
Same, but I still recommend the movie to everyone. It haunts in all the right ways.

Wireless, simple, cheap (30 euros or so) and runs for half a year or so on a single AA battery. I used all sorts of fancy gaming mice for a good while, but if Logitech keeps making these I’m more than happy to get new ones when the buttons give up, which they always do eventually no matter the price point.
It keeps changing back to Gemini on its own for me even if I don’t use the assistant at all.
