You like their food (objective, so there’s no “lying” around that), and so excuse their politics. I get it, it’s like separating the artist from the art. Lots of people pay to see Tom Cruise movies, or now to see Ed Sheeran, or maybe Bill Burr.
Some people don’t.

That something is that money = power, and power corrupts.
They start out with perhaps a little less empathy than normal, maybe due to being raised by rich, entitled parents, but as their wealth and power grows, the lose it all.
I think virtually everyone, save the Mr. Rogers and Dolly Partons of the world, would soon fall into the same trap, if handed a billion dollars. It’s human nature. We’re not poor because we’re better, we’re better because we’re poor.

Trump should be next against the wall, for his crimes.

Four weeks left till midterms.
I’ll be voting as far left as I can, as I always have. I expect there will be quite a few newcomers doing the same.
I’m grateful to the founders of this country giving states control over elections. That might just save us. Fingers crossed.

I’ve had a few great BJs, a bunch of okay ones, and a couple I stopped in the middle. No matter how good, I can take them or leave them. I don’t miss it when it doesn’t happen, and I’ve never outright asked for one.

Billionaires think they have an IQ of 1000.

The reality: “Nobody stops to fuel their vehicle taking gasoline, gets out, rushes as fast as possible, puts as much fuel in the car as possible, and gets back in the car and drives away,” Cutler said.
I, in fact, do exactly that. I pull up in front of the pump, get out, stick my card in, fill up, and leave. It’s been over ten years since I went inside the store at a gas station, there’s nothing in there I want to buy.
However, needing to spend half an hour recharging if I were on a road trip would be fine, because on a road trip I would stop for a break from driving in any case. But, I almost never go on road trips, and 99.9% of my trips around town would be well within one charge, which I could do at home.
So, while I agree that charging doesn’t need to be as fast as gas, it’s not because of his stated reason.

On the fucking nose:

It’s been a minute.
There are dozens of us!
At least.

Sometimes, UFOs land.
That dog? A UFO that’s not flying at the moment. When the dog sits, the aliens are getting back onboard.
Some UFOs can morph into different shapes as camouflage.
That lake? Yep, it’s a UFO.

The Fray’s first big hit single was “How to Save a Life”, from their debut album of the same name.
I’m right there with you, but what would be the point of acquiring the label be, too?
I mean, I’ve made it this far without the label.

I remember finding this out a while back. I tried to install it, but had some problem I don’t recall. I’ll try again. Thanks.
EDIT: Ah, right. It doesn’t find my mounted drives nor my shared drives from my server. Nor does it show previews of any filetype but images (which IS nice), just a big icon for text files, for instance.
I suppose there are fixes for these things, but I didn’t find anything in configuration or in the help section of the website after a quick search. That’s as far as I’m willing to dive into this, because I know I could spend hours on this, and still not find a solution from past experience.
Thanks, anyway.

Maybe don’t show her out on a date, then?
