I work with the elderly.

They mainly use Windows 11, which has been having insane problems lately. Like… Basic operating system problems.

I carefully explain that, no, they’re a trillion dollar company and they don’t care that it sucks. No, there’s no recourse. Yes, the expect you to toss it and get a new machine.

They’ve (and all of us) have been pulled into this digital landscape that’s now expected of us, and it’s a janky piece-of-shit. And also how you get your Social Security checks.
