    If this really becomes the norm i don’t want to hear Europeans say another word about Chinese surveillance ever again.

      They’ll complain that Chinese cars are surveilling them, even though the requirement to do so comes from their treasured liberal democratic institutions.

        yeah it’s bad if it’s done by the bad authoritarian totalitarian communist dictatorships (irrespective of the scope and goal of such surveillance), but good when done by our good free liberal egalitarian fair and lawful democratic leadership (irrespective of the scope and goal of such surveillance)
