Immigration and borders legislation known as Bill C-12 has received royal assent. It will mean thousands of asylum seekers have their claims terminated.

“This (law) is the most significant rollback of refugee rights in Canada in over a decade,” said Adam Sadinsky of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers. “It’s disappointing that Canada has joined other countries in a race to the bottom in terms of protection of rights for migrants and vulnerable people.”

              I’m amazed that you could read a post that specifically says “we should NOT run the government like a business”, and then lists SEVERAL reasons WHY we should NOT run the government like a business, and then conclude that, in fact, I’m advocating running the government like a business.

              You’re so blind with rage that you’ve:

              1. apparently forgotten how to read

              2. don’t even realize that I’m not arguing with you and that we’re actually on the same side of this issue
