How about they all cross the aisle to the greens then.
For real. How many u-turns can you try to force before you realize that you’re in the wrong party?
Tony Vaughan, MP for Folkestone and Hythe, told the Guardian: “You don’t win back public confidence in the asylum system by threatening to forcibly remove refugees who have lived here lawfully for 15 or 20 years. That just breeds insecurity and fractured communities.”
Absolutely correct Tony.
“We can change our immigration system for the better without forgetting who we are as a Labour party,” Vaughan added.
I mean…I think that boat sailed for the current Labour party quite some time ago…
At least there are still some decent people in the party such as Tony Vaughan, even if they’re marginalised by the Mandelsonians.
