I like how the linked critique has more and better citations for prior work on continued fractions. And how the actual paper has a citation for the word “coffer” but no citations to modern continued fractions literature.
Like this could actually be a cool paper if they did actually good scholarship when mathematically linking neural networks and continued fractions… and if they didn’t PATENT THE FUCKING “”“RESULTS”“”.
I bet it’s cause they didn’t want to give too much incriminating info in their citations 🤣
