In another thread I made the comment that the Chinese parades are always so disciplined and ordered. Compare to the US. This is their version of the 2025 victory day parade:

None of the berets are worn the same way. The PLA would never let this fly.

This leading contingent is not even marching in step.

And why are they marching in their combat uniforms? Every other military in the world has dress uniforms for this purpose.

These guys are US army members, dressing in WW1 uniforms for the parade. They are not in step either, some are on their left foot while others are on their right foot. Some are even slouching. Also don’t armies try to put people of similar height on the same row? Even reenactors do a better job.

It’s a even a versus thing. I don’t particularly watch military parades but it’s never been so flagrant to me except in the US. An army that got fat on its own belly, existing only to funnel money to Raytheon Boeing and Lockheed Martin. You can tell they don’t fight equal adversaries from these pictures alone. Their own ships are rusting.

Compare to China’s parade. This is any random picture:

yea, if they can’t organize simple small scale parades, how are they supposed to organize military operations against a country the scale of China? The lack of attention to detail is obvious to anyone.

On the one hand this is great because it is showing the military leaders in the west how deeply deficient they are. On the other hand that is just going to make them to think about using nukes even harder.

Which is why China paraded its own nukes, to signal to the West that any thoughts they may have of using nukes are simply suicidal.

Some of my favorite pictures from the PLA’s parade.

Trucks driving in sync. Not one truck is a millimeter forward. This is probably easier than it looks (cruise control if military vehicles have that?) but it’s impressive nonetheless and shows attention to detail.

Uniforms gradient (and marching in step, very important). This looks cool from far away, which is the point of having these uniforms. The US wanted to march in their fatigues which was a great idea obviously since the point is to camouflage you!

Womens’ militia battalion. A lot of people online got hung up on this picture because pretty women but rather, I think it’s cool to showcase womens’ battalions separately. In the US pictures above the platoons were mixed and it kind of all merges together, especially if you’re looking from far away. This lets us see that there is a sizeable, even integral presence of women in the PLA 🫡

PLA helicopters flying in 80 formation, for 80 years since victory over fascism. To me the picture itself is more impressive than any acrobatics and smoke show. 28 helicopters in total.

Finally, there was also a picture of soldiers entering a drone APC carrier in perfect sync, but I can’t find it no matter how hard I look. They jumped into the back door of three vehicles in perfect unison, one after the other. The APC was a drone carrier, and only needed a crew of 3.
