What was the first kink you tried and how did it shape your future sexual preferences?
I got into electric play early on. Started with a violet wand and then TENS. Because it’s kind of niche, I found myself with a full dance card on most weekends and eventually went on to produce videos. In my local scene I became the guy you to go for this sort of play or advice. I’ve also been on stage numerous times at various events. This was all pre-COVID.
I wouldn’t say it shaped my sexual preferences so much as it shaped my path in the BDSM community. Those were the best years of my life and I’m so glad I let my curiosities get the best of me so many years ago.
First was someone tying me up and I didn’t like it as much as I thought, which made me think for years that fantasy was better left in fantasy. Regular sex works for me, I’ve been lucky in the libido and response department.
Many years later got to play different ways, and a lot of it really was so good in real life. Still not really into the macrame rope stuff but having someone get so turned on when I have a natural response to them taking control is one of the absolute hottest things - that feedback loop. I don’t really think I have kinks or fetishes. I do have curiosities and try to satisfy them, if feasible.
I indulged in a few but it did not really change anything. Guess I’m just dull.

It is just something that is a part of me and I’d love to enjoy that kink in a kink setting along with others though when I have been on Fetlife, people haven’t exactly been receptive to someone who wants to smell feet, and its all because of what people have called, true fetishists, people who have essentially ruined it. I haven’t been on fetlife since hearing about it, because I felt intimidated.
