As a trans person I believe every adult should enjoy the right to elective genital surgeries. And as an intersex person I believe there’s never an excuse to perform cosmetic genital surgeries on infants.
I definitely agree in those cases. I’m a bit more confused when it comes to circumcision though because I’m AMAB and was circumcised as an infant, and to be honest I’m glad I never had to worry about foreskin and cleaning under it…
You only have to worry about dick cheese if you’re being absolutely disgusting. It takes five seconds to clean an intact dick in the shower, and you only have to do it once a month and before sex. Once a week if you really care about it. And the benefit of having a foreskin is it’s nature’s lube, and it preserves your sensitivity so you don’t get desentisised by your pants.
But all the logistical and sexual issues aside, the basic truth is simple: there is NEVER a good reason to perform cosmetic surgery on an infant. If you want a circumcised dick, then get the surgery at an age where you can consent to it. You don’t get to make that choice for someone else, not even your own kids.

That’s what anesthesia and opioids are for. Give a person a month of Vicodin and tell them to not have sex for that time frame. Problem solved.

It be hygiene part is a myth. You simply pull back the foreskin and the penis will lock identical to how your circumcised penis looks. You don’t have to “clean under it”. The foreskin is designed to slide and retract.
