    Sure, I mean show me whatever literature you want but the hard truth is that anarchism could never work in practice, and the theory that has been put into practice by countries like China and Cuba was all written by MLs, so it’s been proven. If anything the only thing really stopping socialism from taking hold all over the world is the West, and once the Empire falls we’ll probably see a ton of socialist revolutions.

    I’d go so far as to say that some of the government systems we need already to work for the people already exist in the current structure, and a proletariat revolution would make it actually work for the people.

    Of course there will still be issues but that’s up to the revolutionary government to work with the people to solve.

    Good read. Honestly I feel like any argument that basically boils down to “I don’t like it when people tell me what to do” needs to be outright dismissed. There’s a reason why there’s never been a successful anarchist revolution and why there never will be. They have no centralized, organized power to do anything.

    Just seems like the author “criticizing” On Authority just kept moving the goalposts of what is and isn’t okay when it comes to authority…like you’re gonna listen to someone who’s more knowledgeable than you, y’know, the authority on something? Oops, can’t have that.

    Oh so the state has to dissolve pre-revolution? Sounds like you’re fine with creating a power vacuum that will certainly bring fascists and reactionaries with no organized apparatus to suppress them, but maybe we can stop them if we have good vibes, right?

    With all the problems anarchism has, like, why not just be an ML? Feels like some people just aren’t mature (or learned) enough to understand why a state is necessary and get wrapped up in their fantasies of adventurism. Even when I was first learning about socialism I quickly realized that anarchists had no answer for racism other than hoping others don’t act racist, and they would certainly allow white supremacists to “democratically” continue to be racist just cause imposing any sort of authority upon them would be “authoritarian” (a useless word imo).

    What do these fuckers really think is gonna happen if Russia wins? Like seriously, they really must believe their own bullshit when they say “omg Russia is gonna keep going after winning in Ukraine!!!1!1!1!1”

    Nevermind the fact that if Russia really was some imperialist, land grabbing nation then why the hell didn’t they attack one of their weaker neighbors? Oh wait that’s right, it’s because none of them had neo-nazi groups being directly funded and armed by the West, none of them were attacking their Russian-speaking population, and none of them were considering joining NATO and hosting fucking nukes on their territories.

    God living in this world fucking sucks
