Oh I understand it, and I also understand that laws can be wrong and corrupt, and shouldn’t always be followed. If you think how law-abiding a corporation is is more important than protecting privacy of activists, maybe that shows your true colors.

Yes, but it’s much better than if you have scripts enabled. Assuming have your useragent set to something common, you’re already covering a lot of ground, and even if you’re not totally fingerprint-proof from every html attribute, every little bit helps.
Hardware and Software free from capitalism’s planned obsolescence will live as long as the community has interest.
How much of an existential threat?
American democrats aren’t leftists.
If you’re a creator, upload to Peertube and Youtube, and promote Peertube on your Youtube channel. It’s a compromise, but it’s the only realistic way to pull viewers over if you’re not already a popular creator. Also provide some incentives to use Peertube instead of Youtube, like early uploads.
If you’re a viewer, use Peertube; and when you need to use Youtube, use a 3rd party client like pipe-viewer. Don’t support ad culture, donate to creators you like instead.
Proton as a private alternative to Gmail
pipe-viewer 0.5.1 with yt-dlp 2024.03.10 still working flawlessly on my end. Maybe I shouldn’t be saying that because Google will come for that next :(
A lot of people are in the military for economic reasons; I don’t think a lot of them would turn on the fellow members of their class. Police, on the other hand…
If you need to think about this, they won.
I disable javascript by default (with a keybind toggle, I think noscript can do something similar in normie browsers), and I never get these.
For something with that little memory, I would use a minimal window manager; you’ll want every megabyte of memory if you want to have any chance at running something like a javascript-capable browser without constantly hammering swap. fvwm, cwm, jwm, and ratpoison are all small window managers I enjoy; but do your own research into what window manager is the best for you.
So many better standards like XMPP and IRC yet people use Signal and Telegram. I hate marketing.
Yes, and not even the modern fvwm3, due to licensing issues.
Disabling javascript.
Just disable javascript instead and it won’t also fuck up your CSS.
I am agnostic, and if a god exists, I hate them.
Definitely OpenBSD’s default fvwm
Definitely seems to be the consensus, and I’m inclined to agree, so I’m going to delete this.

implementations should support regular expressions (usually BREs in my experience); which is the same thing grep uses. Consider reading your friendly neighborhood regex formatting manpage, if you are confused. As for easily scrolling,^G
to terminate your search followed byb
(or your favorite vi or emacs scrolling bind) to scroll back should be sufficient.
