16 days agoI don’t doubt it, however I was thinking more about admin, IT, & support staff, housekeeping, kitchen staff, security, the Marines, and all the rest of the folks who keep the gears oiled and turning.

3·16 days agoApropos of nothing, I read a post claiming that the phonetic pronunciation of “ChatGPT” in France translates to “Cat I farted.” So I used Google Translates audio and sure enough, “ChatGPT” and “Chat j’ai pété” sound nearly identical when piped through the app’s audio feature.
There was a woman in her late 30s in one of my college classes back in 1999. She was a driver for UPS, and had nearly 20 years worth stock options. UPS went public that year, and her stock options were converted to Class A common stock. She decided to hang onto her shares. I found out a couple of years ago that she signed up for a DRIP (Dividend Reinvestment Plan), and will retire a millionaire.

And yet they’re bigger, fly higher and faster, and have longer range than his 757.
I’m doing so well just believing the opposite of whatever he says.
She’s the only one in that group I wouldn’t want to get into fight with.

Same deal with the word “entitlements”. MAGOPs like to throw it around like it’s a pejorative term. “Entitlement programs like Social Security…” Bitch, everyone who’s paid into those programs is entitled to receiving those benefits because that’s what an entitlement is. It’s not the same as saying “President Trump feels he is entitled to a free, used 747 because the interior design looks like a whore house with wings.”
