If you’re from Germany or Italy: I don’t think this is really true anymore. The fascist parties in these countries got 30%/21% of votes.

A lot of deaths because of accidents and because nobody knows how to do medicine, but not a single more death because of war. And after 2-3 years of learning how to do most tasks with okay proficiency, I see a much fairer distribution of resources (food, shelter, etc.) which means less starvation deaths etc.

Also, anarchism overnight.

Oh my fucking god, the comments in here are so bad. Nobody is saying “both sides bad”. This is not a centrist meme. This is a case of observing that Republicans are far-right fascists and Democrats are center-right conservatives.

This is not a point of “both sides are the same”, it’s a point of “both are on the same side” (with said side being the political right)

If gender is the software and the body is the hardware, this is kind of the “born in the wrong body”-stuff many people still use and it implies that there is a kind of hardware/software combination that fits together and a kind of combination that does not.

Could be because I reported it for being discriminating towards non-binary people because you negated their existence.

And it breaks my heart every time I hear yet another story of someone killing their own passion, numbing themselves down to the point that they become unable to enjoy what they formerly loved, just to “fit in” a society that doesn’t accept deviation from the perceived norm.

Yeah I feel like that was an issue for me as well and one of the reasons I either repressed or resented parts of myself for a long time. And I’m glad the journeys I had the last couple of years (the one I described in the post and also the journey of overcoming depression) not only helped me accept those parts of myself, but be happy and proud that I have them.

Nah, I don’t subscribe to that analogy because it still implies that there are “male” bodies and “female” bodies when I think every woman’s body is by definition a female body and every man’s body is by definition a male body.

• I don’t want to sexually assault anyone, and I think he would find it funny more than anything else
• I don’t want to do it maliciously to like make someone look bad and with his demeanor everyone will be like “it’s nice how chill he handled that”
• I think he did important work so I wouldn’t at all mind being seen with him in public

The only real other option would be Green Party MP Bruno Hönel because he’s the only gay MP I find cute and maybe I can sneak his number…

But it’s not about that for many people. For many people, being religious is more about finding strength and peace in that kind of guided spirituality
