SEO is a cancer
If you add “-best -awesome” or search on google you can get some real results, but I usually avoid google. You can also try searxng
One step towards removal of non-loyalists from the federal government, one of Hitlers first steps towards gaining complete authority.
OOOP
Means potato / lame
Hitler opened the meeting by boasting that millions of Germans had welcomed his chancellorship with “jubilation,” then outlined his plans for expunging key government officials and filling their positions with loyalists. At this point he turned to his main agenda item: the empowering law that, he argued, would give him the time (four years, according to the stipulations laid out in the draft of the law) and the authority necessary to make good on his campaign promises to revive the economy, reduce unemployment, increase military spending, withdraw from international treaty obligations, purge the country of foreigners he claimed were “poisoning” the blood of the nation, and exact revenge on political opponents. “Heads will roll in the sand,” Hitler had vowed at one rally.
Sounds about right in line
I’d rather see organizations that I can join and DO something rather than give money to. So many organizations will take your money but dont want to talk to you otherwise.
The graphics are trash because I have the “Poor Eyesight” negative trait, which requires glasses to see well. I also got the “Hyperfocus” trait which is a mixed bag. Too bad the skill point for poor eyesight didnt get used so now my character’s got the depressed moodle and I cant get him to read a comic book or eat food
Because theyre a domain registrar, its not the same process for them. They can essentially pay pennies on the dollar to hold them for several months-a year. I’m not sure if they get it back like a deposit, but it costs them almost nothing. You can complain to WIPO but you might have difficulty getting anywhere without suing and showing something trademark infringement (with a registered trademark)
There are things they do that are beyond that, like if you look up a domain on their website to see if its available and it is, theyll essentially register it for cheap and then hold onto it so you can only buy it from them at an upcharged price, and even if you go to another registrar thats cheaper, you cant register it because they already own it
I think the problem is underspecified: it doesnt define what happens if they get it wrong. If they get it wrong are they barred from exiting? Or can they make a guess every night? Whats stopping them from all saying blue and the boat leaving with 100 blue eyed people on night 1? Or do they only get one guess?
Also it would have saved more people if the guru had simply stated the counts they daw because everyone could count the other people and then see what color was missing (their own eye color) and they could have all left night 1.
Seems like he does get banned frequently by mods, given he has like 10 accounts created on a number of servers in the past few months
Regardless of how we feel about TikTok (I dont like it either for the same reasons)
The ban isn’t about privacy violations by the owning corporation or because of challenges or mental health, but rather that the US government (directly or by proxy through the owning corporation) isnt the one in control of the information collected or the algorithms.
Due to its younger user base and lack of US based corporate interests, things that US corporations would normally block, remove or downplay with their algorithms are allowed. This means the culture and information that would normally dissapear from US media and social media instead on tiktok tends to be much more liberal and available. On the other hand, information critical of china or contrary to their culture may be less visible, and your information is getting tracked by china instead of the us.
This difference was exemplified in the wake of the United Healthcare CEOs assasination. Traditional US media was extremely critical of the shooter, and dropped any presumption of Luigi’s innocence or deniability prior to the conclusion of his court case. Comments and posts were removed for displaying anything other than giving him the death penalty (hyperbole, but). They denied that there was a problem and downplayed peoples concerns with the US healthcare system and billionaires.
TikTok on the other hand (and smaller social media sites like on the fediverse) showed immense support for Luigi, and expressed their disdain for the US healthcare system and the ruling class.
Same for the war in ukraine, especially for the genocide in gaza perpetrated by Israel on the Palestinians.
The government and ruling class is upset that they dont have the personal and tracking information of TikTok users, that they cant control the algorithm, and cant ask the company to stop showing things that make them look bad or could potentially be used to create a movement against them. Its those very trends that travel quickly through tiktok that have the potential to be dangerous to them.
Not directly. The moment you make that loan it gets sold to a private loan handler
Maybe they saw this dude
I get at least one a day over text just saying “hello”
Have since started reporing as spam and blocking ever single one
Theres a crappy table that looks like an ad in the middle and only shows like 3 at a time across 16 pages
Assuming 25% efficiency, 25% of the sunlight will be converted into electricity. However, once that energy gets used later, most of it will be converted into heat, one way or another. The main way that it will decrease heat being released into the atmosphere is by replacing less efficient methods of energy generation.
For example, it you normally heat a house with a 90% efficient gas burner to generate 900W of heat on average, you are burning enough gas to generate 1000W of heat on average throughout the day. Lets also say the house gets 4000W of heat across its roof on average throughout the day. Thats 5000W of heat being released into the atmosphere total.
Lets now say you convert to solar panels and now get 25% of that energy from the sun converted to electricity, then into heat in the house. Electric heating is essentially 100% efficient, so you get 3000W of sunlight converted directly to heat in the panels, 1000W of electricity which is also turned into heat in the house = 3900W of heat + 100W of extra electricity (turned into heat elsewhere). The 1000W of gas gets eliminated completely.
It probably wont be anywhere near the numbers listed here and batteries will play a huge role in averaging out these numbers due to varying generation and use throughout the day. Additionally this doesnt account for things like cars and othergas based systems which wont / cant be replaced economically, other technologies like radiative cooling paint, and the fact that global temperatures will likely continue to rise due to the continued release of co2 and other gases. It might slightly slow things down though
Converting electricity generation to renewable alone isnt enough to reverse global warming, it would also require converting systens which use gas and other fossil fuels to electric
If it were a cap it could be fine without out. It looks like a diode or fet though; just because there’s a bunch doesnt mean there’s redundancy. There’s something that isn’t working properly, you just don’t know it yet. Double check you are operating at full 16x on the gpu pcie slot. They could also be ESD protection diodes, in which case the mobo will run fine without it as long as you don’t shock the crap out of it
Things will work for the most part, but be slow and have many pain points for a little while. ARM support isnt 100% across the board yet, and development in this direction is going to take a while given ARM conversion took a few years with major vendors switching over. RiscV will prob take a bit longer. Jeff Geerling has a video on a riscv itx motherboard from Milk-V
