Rn i do mapping without pprofits, over 10000 things added + more changed\fixed, but i would like to do both if it possible and be helpful for both - for city councils, emergency services, logistic companies and so on

1·18 days agoYeah, i do this way always , but maybe i don’t get write it correct in English (not my born language) Let me try to change a chapter:
The way you described used by me all the time, line touches polygon in two points where it can be cutted and worked on forward very well (anyway thanks!)
But, if you draw a line that touches multypolygon - cut tool ain’t works in places it touches multypolygon (not allowed - showed as gray)

1·19 days agowell i difenetley do not want to draw polygon \ area because i would need to go by clicking lake coast points wich are a lot of points with crazy geometry and then only get it to forest area
Looks sweet. Under Win i should better use VM or Linux Subsystem ? Seems by README.MD Windows problem still there? Thanks

3·2 months agoIf you are speaking about “West world” countrys - yes, maybe there they provide info, but there are other part of planet where it needed to be done manualy
I mean, yeah, but why Organic Maps or CoMaps not take Transitous\Bimba and put it over on existing maps?
How about Gnome-Maps? Ppl say they works prety well but only on linux
It’s quite wierd because sometimes ppl prefer shortest route despite surface and so on… Sad there’s no ability to turn on “ignore paths and show shortest way”
I will share locations after ~7 days, will see if time load\change things a bit first For now bicycle on that trail works ok, but when i change to “walk” it does path that showed on picture, despite i added tag for trail walk - yes, bicycles - yes
3 days had passed. It just a trail without direction
Yes, there’s a dirt, but in another place not specified , but still, it does not put way… i also selected a line where OSM do lay path on - and it just same as mine 1:1 by parameters
Logic of algorithm quite strange. It’s not an option of user somehow? Like i don’t mind if there’s a dirt, i just want cut my way to get faster from point A to point B
Around 3 days passed and it appeared on map
Upd: Path is diffenetley mapped. See pic 2
