i’m so fucking tired of this bastard.
he’s responsible for a lot of my misery and i want him out of it.
now shen has to start drawing his life female too. and then change pronouns ;3c
people redefine ‘right’ and ‘left’ quite often to suit their own internal narratives and post-hoc rationalize riding with a crew that they … basically actually chose on vibes.
now, i’m not saying that there’s nothing to that!
there certainly ARE sets of overlapping traits that are more likely to show up among people who identify as ‘left’ vs people who identify as ‘right’.
i’ve been criticized for using the wikipedia definition of the left-right political spectrum–that of being social equality on the left and social hierarchy on the right. (Although for the most part it DOES seem to fit.)
the world has changed a lot since the french revolution where people seated themselves in the national assembly with the monarchists grouping up on the right side of the room while the revolutionaries sat on the left.
i also see versions of it where people base it on concentrating power and authority into the hands of the few vs distributing and decentralizing that power and authority democratically.
however.
capitalism both concentrates power/authority AND enforces rigid hierarchy where those who own the equipment, machines, tools, structures, real estate, etc (the capital) are ‘above’ those who perform the work.
which is to say:
Yeah i’m pretty sure the sentiment here is correct that capitalism is inherently right-wing. (all the stuff i wrote above is WHY i think it’s correct.)

That dickhead wouldn’t understand responsibility if it tattooed a scarlet R onto his chest.

depends on the instance.
i really miss lemm.ee… it was just, y’know, nice. a nice place. with nice people. friendly, cheerful, open, welcoming.
then you have some instances that are rather uh … combative >.> i shan’t name names lest i accidentally summon their unwanted attention.
i’m new to my current instance and it’s a very cozy place so far. i worry i might be too edgy for the time being, but i’m hoping to sand those edges down, because goodness knows this cursed decade’s roughness has left me rough too. the Screaming Twenties have no brakes…

that ship ain’t sinking anywhere NEAR fast enough if we’re seeing this few vermin scurrying out of the bulkheads.
but yeah i think on second thought your interpretation makes more sense.

I still don’t understand why they labeled these streets as A THOUSAND METERS WIDE @.@

The leopards send their compliments to the chef.
Marge is an awful creature but at least she stuck to what she said she believed in.
I actually do think it’s kind of worse when someone is only pretending to support something for profit. You can’t really convince them otherwise because it’s not a rationale or moral posture that brought them here; they have already weighed how they would feel going with something they didn’t support and decided to roll with it as long as they got paid handsomely.

…
oh my god
is that what it was the whole time O.O;
indeed, some of us are things rather than people ;3
oh gosh, well, i’m ticked off all the time x3
