And that demographic of disillusioned people for whom the liberal narrative is collapsing and are looking for answers is growing. I know people who were generic liberals in 2022 and this year they started telling me that wtf they lowkey not hate Russia and Iran now. I can casually discuss topics that would have probably gotten myself labeled as a conspiracy-brained weirdo in the same category with flat earthers a few years ago. We can see in real time how previously entrenched worldviews are faltering under the pressure of a changing material reality and leaving behind fertile ground for radicalization. Every eastern european needs to pay close attention to Ukraine and learn. This is the only future that awaits us if we side with the imperial core and do the dirty work of maintaing the empire for them. Western media has been consistently glossing over the terror campaign that the Ukrainian state has been waging against the Donbas since 2014. Mass casualty terror attacks on civilians like this are sadly a reality of day to day life in the region. There are teenagers living in Donetsk who grew up doing homework in bomb shelters and have no experience of what peace and safety even feels like.

I remember watching an interview with a Donbas militiaman back in 2022. In his 20s, already fighting for years. Lost an eye and a leg and still came back to fight. At the end it said he was killed in action a few weeks after the interview was filmed. In a just world every single comprador scum in Zelensky’s government alongside with all the western politicians who started this war and still sustain it would be publicly hanged in a square in Donetsk.

Shitty rerun. In WW2, Ukrainian collaborators were deployed to Byelorussia where they participated in some of the worst crimes seen on the already horrific Eastern Front. The Byelorussian SSR lost between 20-30% of its prewar population in only 3 years of occupation.

Sadly anti-roma sentiment is so normalized in europe that people like this face little to no consequences. In this instance it was just an edgy 20-something reddit type trying to impress with his hot sociopolitical opinions and not a politically active individual with an actual plan and conviction to put it in practice, but it shows how deep the dehumanization runs when people just casually bring up this stuff.

An ex coworker who styled himself as the woke progressive of his friend group once explained to me his plan for “fixing” the Romani and it was forcefully taking children from their parents at birth and assigning them to “civilized” families for “proper social integration”. It’s not an issue of moral superiority. Russia is not doing anything about the breach because it is on track to eventually win this war by methodically grinding down Ukraine’s capacity to continue fighting. They do not need to escalate in any way, just maintain the current trend until its logical conclusion. Ukraine has spent the entire war doing this sort of provocations specifically to trigger an escalatory Russian response that the euroghouls on the sidelines can use to further escalate their own involvement in the war. Every time this happens nationalistic broenkors throw a fit for a few days and demand the nuclear annihilation of Lvov then it’s just business as usual with the frontline slowly creeping westwards and tha AFU bleeding out more irreplaceable casualties. It’s an ugly war.
