And regarding the warming for millions of years, I think we had multiple periods on earth with higher CO2 levels. No humans existed back then but life in general was quite fine. openAI lives off of the AI hype. Take a look at what Facebook does with AI for a more moderate take on AI. It’s not useless, openAI just hypes it way beyond where it is.

Effective at what? Germany capitulated only once it was almost fully occupied (e.g. Berlin, Rhineland). The bombs might have helped by binding resources and demoralizing the population but that didn’t affect the capitulation directly.
