They’re trash without it because they are actually plain without it.
Same thing happened to salt. Things like potato chips flavoured with salt are considered plain.

Right, I’m very conclusion oriented. So while I might know that I did validly get to a certain view or conclusion, I don’t always know well enough why to the point I can explain it to others or argue with someone about it.
This can even be something as simple as why I chose one product over the other. I know I had good reasons for choosing the laptop I did when I bought it, but if you ask me what specifically about it made me choose it over another I probably can’t tell you.
For a moment I thought you meant you swapped the numbers on your doors as some kind of weird prank.
I agree, but in this specific case you logically would have started in the centre of the spiral in the overhead view which would equate to downward movement in the side view.
But they definitely chose this because inverting it would absolutely be more associated with a downward spiral. And this kind of looks like a nice tree.

Not only that, he’s never running again, he has literally nothing to lose, and doing this isn’t going to affect votes/popularity of whoever runs next.
99% of people in his position would do the same.

“Pythagoras conducted a scientific experiment demonstrating that humans and beans were spawned from the same source. He took some beans and buried them in the mud. They rested there for a few weeks before being removed and investigated by the great Greek philosopher. He concluded they looked like human fetuses.”
But even that doesn’t actually have any decent evidence.
