Makes sense, thanks for the response.

Sorry if this is a basic question. So if I have a pihole, do I just need to update the Raspberry Pi software, along with updating pihole software to resolve the insecurities? Or do I need to change the DNS settings of the pihole?
Thanks for your hard work on this great Lemmy app.
Great lists so far. I’ll add one that I picked up from a previous thread:
URLCheck
URLCheck acts as an amazingly customizable and powerful intermediary when opening url links, allowing, among other things: to remove trackers, affiliate links, unnecessary elements, check Hosts, facilitating link holding and sharing, protecting against certain phishing techniques and many more…

From the article:
Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom is required under state law to call a special election within two weeks of McCarthy’s seat becoming vacant. That special election must take place between 126 and 140 days later, though it may be able to coincide with California’s congressional primaries on March 5.
Thanks for the recommendations, especially URLCheck. I already had FDroid and have been trying to figure out an easy way to clean tracking URLs.
Intellivision II and Commodore 64 with joystick. Not sure which one we had first first.
Here was the best explanation I found in the Toot link above: @rothko@beige.party … it’s not a riddle. each phrase is merely a statement of fact.
“What” is a word made up of 4 letters.
“Yet” is made up of 3.
“Although” is written with 8 letters"
and “then” with 4.
“Rarely” consists of 6, and
“never” is written with 5.
it’s not actually asking for an answer
Just curious, do you see that as a bad thing?
I initially joined this conversation to say that there would be no way for anyone to deserve such a great shoe tying complement, but after researching your abilities I must say that I stand corrected. Bravo on your fantastic ability.
