No idea, dev didn’t go into detail, just that they closed Google play publishing account.

Unfortunate it to see it go down, but I prefer this one over the original:

Check it out if you still need it on your android device.
The dev also dropped from the playstore over their practices, but builds are still up on their repo.
Hopefully this’ll work on the new fold. Give us some sort of software parity with Samsung for multitasking on foldables.
Does Gemini still fail to do all Google Assistant tasks? Such as reminders, home controls, etc.?
I remember it falling so hard when it first rolled out and I never have it another shot. Is it any better?
Best guess I have is to install home, run MAS again to activate a pro key, upgrade to pro inside windows.
Probably a better way, but that one should work. I was able to upgrade from home to pro this way.
You may already know, but just wanted to report that the megathread is down.
Edit: Back up
It was better than the first day when I tried it, but still not fully functional, I’ve moved back to Google Assistant again. It doesn’t do all of the “Home” commands and it struggles with setting up calendar events and reminders.
When you asked the answer was yes, but, then after a day or two they actually force enabled WITHOUT the app being installed. At least for me and a few others online.
It’s not, basic functionality has been lost, and instead of completing your requests, it initiates a search/conversation.
A few commands did work and it routed it through Assistant, but after failing my daily tasks I promptly uninstalled.
Here’s hoping they make a great product. I usually like to wait till a 3rd Gen product before jumping in, but I’m missing the versatility my Galaxy fold 3 had. Love my pixel 7 pro too, really looking forward to getting the best of both worlds.
That’s why I check back in every so often. I would love for it to be my main browser again, but they just have to polish those rough edges a little more.
I used to. I used Firefox as my daily browser for about 10 years. Desktop use there really isn’t any significant difference, but I find the mobile experience for edge to be better.
I check in on Firefox every six months or so, and while feature parity is mostly there, the way they implemented the features just don’t feel right? Like they’re kinda backwards sometimes? It’s hard to put into words, but they are different, and I prefer the way they function in edge.
Personally, I’ve been asking for this for years. Very excited to see this mostly for ublock origin. But there are a few other extensions I use daily that I’d like to have available.
I’m sure there are better options, but I’m running proxmox as my host and a windows server VM for my suite.
