Jade City and the other 2 books of the series.

Gross.

I’d be happier if we outlawed including binding arbitration in contracts and terms of services instead.

Doctors aren’t paid to answer your emails, sign paperwork or prescriptions while your not in the room, and if you are late or don’t show up they don’t get paid for the time you’re not there.

If you add in the fact that they are absurdly overbooked and have a business to run too, it’s easy to see that there are numerous problems to be be fixed. Being an employee, or them forming a union of sorts would be a good.

Additionally, if someone is dying on a plane, a doctor wouldn’t be covered by their insurance if they mess up a procedure on that plane. The doctor would be taking all of the risk.

I have seen my family doctor many times since then. No worries.

Canadian here.

This one time 10 years ago I drove to my family doctor’s office without an appointment and got lucky that it was a walk in day.

I saw my doctor within an hour of arriving and it cost me nothing.

Our emissions are already terrible. We do not need to destroy the earth more.

…We can’t keep doing this. Why do people still so consistently vote to destroy the environment?

Let’s focus on things that don’t dedicate us to a tip-based economy.

To my knowledge, the only change to tips we need is that if your tips are put into a pool to be spread amongst the staff, which is a common practice in restaurants so that the chefs and dishwashers get tips, then the owner can’t include themself in the people to get paid from that pool.

I dated a girl for a while in Ottawa where the owner was taking a huge cut of her tips that way.

Here in Canada I’ve started ordering from the Canadian Tire app instead.

USA dairy isn’t getting tariff’d. That’s actually misinformation.

The Canadian government has a system where if the market is flooded with over a certain amount of dairy, those crazy tariff numbers kick in.

In the past decade, the US has not been able to export enough to come close to flooding our market, so their dairy isn’t heavily tariff’d.

Basically Trump is whining about a non-problem because he can’t read.
