I work in nursing. Even while I unionize to improve working conditions and report my facility to improve living conditions, that isn’t something that happens over night. Instead, I can take joy in spending extra time to make someone’s day a little better.

Find the joy in those moments of power. Some people make entire careers trying to improve the lives of those around them. Find something you can do to help someone in the immediate all while acting to affect a wider good.

Get a long, narrow planter or two. Potting soil, and grow onions, garlic, and potatoes (based on where you live) get grow lights if you can. Onions last longer, but potatoes grow easier.

Rice and beans. Tomato sauce/paste for stretching and altering it.

I wish I live where you do. Here in the USA, we have an escalating boar problem and it is just ignored. But then again, it’s a capitalist country.

Both people seem to take fine care of their dogs? Fun fact: Abused animals don’t crawl into your lap and expose their bellies for affection. That is a sign of mutual trust and companionship.

Hello! I’m a Humanitarian, which sits under the Progressive umbrella. Saying there are discriminatory progressives is a bit silly as a broad stroke, but to be fair, everyone has gaps in their knowledge and understanding. Anyone can be accidentally or subconsciously discriminatory, but Progressives tend to go out of their way to correct discrimination as often as possible.

To be fair, there is one type of person I discriminate against: Fascists.

But that is more of a common sense thing. You can’t get along with someone that wants to exclude everyone but an endlessly decreasing group of people. Fascists only want to get along with Fascists. I want to get along with everybody.

There is the concept of a rolling age gap. As perspective partners get older, the age gap grows.

Example. A 16 and 17 year old? Nobody blinks. 16 and 18? You have eyes in yah. 16 to 19, likely to get icked. 17 to 19? You have eyes in your. 18 to 20? Nobody cares. 18 to 21?

Like a 25yr old and a 30 yr old? See what I mean? The further you get from 18, the wider the acceptable gap of ages is.
