Since ~2014 I would search reddit before google for information. I’m sure as traffic picks up here it will become a better source.

I’ve only been here a couple weeks myself and the amount of new users has skyrocketed in the last week from what ive seen.

I do miss some of the niche subs over there , some of them are here too but not nearly as much engagement…yet

Seems like a lot of people will be coming from reddit.

Hopefully some of the niche communities get a little more traffic over here. Most of the subs I visited over there weren’t very toxic and i actually referred to reddit over google for info on a variety of subjects. It’s just hard to support the platform at this point it really went downhill since 14 ~16

Ahh cool I will copy and paste that info in the future . Trying to get some friends and family to come over here , this will help ✌️

I jumped over here a couple weeks ago at the request of another redditor and it’s like a breath of fresh air.

I still check out reddit for a couple subs that just don’t have enough interaction over here “yet”.

I’ve mentioned lemmy a couple times over there and got replies like " it’s just too complicated " etc. and now that I think about it they were most likely bots 🤔

You don’t get to watch our local news reports. Plenty of people get smoked every single day by gunfire. Fuck someone’s wife , cut them off in traffic , call them a snitch ,bump into them in a bar, throw snow from your driveway onto theirs 💥💥💥. It could be anything that gets a bunch of new holes added to your meat suit

There are people that are very susceptible to advertising/propaganda . I work for some of these people in their homes . 9 times out of 10 they have a can of flex seal in their garage ( that stuff does not work ) , I have over heard them talking about buying commemorative silver plated coins and arguing over the phone with some other scam advertisement trying to cancel their reoccurring mail order products. They are suckers , constantly falling for scams. They have been conditioned since birth. Just sleep walking through life waiting to be told what to think or do next.

My black cat was " puppie cat " . We would go for walks every day, he would hunt mice in the field and come running when I’d call him. He wasn’t afraid of anything, he would beat a fox’s ass if it messed with him

I had a black cat. He was cool as fuck. I would leave work early to hang out with him. He would piss on my car tire every day when I got home then we would go for walks. He would bop my fore head with his paw to wake me up early every morning. Best cat ever

I try to take care of those little beings as best I can

I was tripping on shrooms on day, looking at the grass and noticed an ant scurring around then another and little, tiny beetle looking bugs. Then i looked out across a field and saw gnats,bees ,wasps , flys, 20 or 30 birds in the distance , a couple squirrels and thought about the worms under my feet and realized this is their world we just live in it. We are outnumbered a million to one and they don’t need us at all
