It seems to me not even profits matter to them. Just control and power.

Europe is “trying” but there won’t be a deal as long as the EU and UK lick Israel’s boots unconditionally.

Such a hassle when Xitter is right there and lets them spread propaganda without any hacking.

Hopefully Xi takes notes of his own observations so he can remember them later.

Krafton isn’t just publishing Inzoi, it founded the entire studio. If you work there you work for Krafton. And honestly it shows in the sloppy product.

Shouldn’t there be a Steam EULA or something that overwrites BS like this? I don’t know. I’m genuinely curious if that holds up. If developers really can terminate your license willy-nilly and damage Valve’s reputation by doing so. Because it would sound like a PR nightmare for the store front too.

Unlike the orange man’s appointees, a lot of these oligarchs actually have relationships with the Chinese elite. China is the world factory and all that jazz. As far as this US administration goes these guys aren’t a bad pick to take to Beijing right now.

That’s a cool fantasy but China was barely a player during Reagan. I doubt they saw it that way. In fact I think they were probably quite happy about the USA doing economically well overall given most of their growth depended on production for and exports to the USA at the time. Pressured by the Soviet Union during the 70s, trade agreements with the USA were a god sent.
If we’re talking about decline China was concerned with it’s probably the decline of the Soviet Union. Once that was gone they were fully occupied tightening trade relationships around the world and were likely hoping everyone would keep growing and keep trading. That was until Xi came into power. He sees things very differently, apparently.

People are just jealous they didn’t win the FIFA peace price. So am I. Fuck FIFA.

wrongdoing
According to Xi just like Putin punishes bad bad oligarch for wrongdoing according to himself.

And if we’re not ignoring the privacy concerns these use cases are definitely not worth putting everyone in front of you under this form of surveillance for a US tech giant and ultimately the US government. The price for society to pay is way too high.

This oil and gas crisis is the best advertisement for renewables ever. We still barely feel the impact of how unprecedented the supply shortage because renewables soften the blow tremendously. 20 years ago a crisis like this would’ve ended entire states within weeks and throw half the globe into a deep depression.
Now? Now it’s somewhere between very inconvenient and extremely uncomfortable. Ironically I think this is also why so many people don’t take the situation serious enough. Like “Oh, even if there’s an unprecedented oil crisis it’s not that bad! See? Importing oil works!” Some people just never learn, I guess. But the economy will respond and bet even harder on renewables. It’s inevitable.

We knew how bad the situation was economically but we also knew sanctions would have a much delayed effect. Economists have explained that plenty back when it seemed sanctions wouldn’t do much at first. As far as I’m aware, Russia transformed into a full on war economy since. That delayed things even further but it will make the fallout even worse for the country. Putin really doesn’t care if Russia even still exists when he goes down.

Let me guess he doesn’t like Republicans because of their racism against himself specifically but he’s totally down to hating other minorities all the same.
Newsflash: Queer rights are human rights, smart ass! We’re in this together. Well, not you. You can eat shit, Dave.

On one hand this is an elegant solution that is already in use in Germany for years, if companies want to implement it that is. But I think only Sony’s Playstore uses it. Or so I have heard. No US company wants to use it and I am sure they will lobby to get more data from users than a token if this gets rolled out EU wide. I am skeptical about this.

I’m the last person to defend China but this is just moronic on so many levels. China has been hording oil for a long time and it wasn’t an issue before. But now that the US started an absolutely senseless and ridiculously stupid war in the most incompetent way imaginable they demand stability? Yeah right. Shut up.

Even supervised driving should only be legal if the remote driver resides in the same country with a legit drivers license and a taxi license. It’s outlandish how “self-driving” cars rely on drivers from a different continent with no proof of proficiency.

And it almost makes sense for the Netherlands. Almost. They have amazing infrastructure. Their world class cycling lanes are pretty much disconnected from roads for the most part and even their highways are very decently lit at night. Then again, allowing Teslas to self drive isn’t the kind of mindset that got them there in the first place and I won’t be surprised when Teslas still fail under these stellar conditions.

Called it and this is just the beginning. There won’t be done anything meaningful about it in most countries either.
Okay I still won’t use it.
