I bought one for my mattress which ai think was a good idea but now Im wondering if i should get one for the duvet too?

Got a duvet cover enveloping it now but Id hate to not fully protect duvet too by getting something waterproof and bug proof around it before the cover. Not sure if that would make it too hot tho

Trying to be disciplined about using a flat sheet between me and the cover+duvet but I feel a nagging to get the casing too.

It never ends, this shit lol. By the way, if you ever need to apply a cover, do the roll method. I cant freaking believe how fast and relatively painless it was

    The roll method is great.

What kind of duvet did you get? A cover is good enough for most superficial dirt, but if your cats have a tendency to pee on your bed, you might want to protect it more than that, especially if it’s a feather or silk duvet which you can’t easily wash.

Even a flat sheet isn’t super necessary, since the duvet cover is fully washable, and should absorb any dirt/body oils from, but it never hurts! I am a fan of the flat sheet.

In the grand scheme of things a mattress is much more expensive(and harder to clean) than a duvet, and so it’s more important to keep the mattress protected, but if you want to protect your duvet that’s up to you.

Depends on the climate; if you live in a hot and humid climate, it will worsen your sleep. Unless you’re old and cold like a skeleton.
