Russia is not an hegemon, it does not project power enough to be considered as such. But it will have to fall, like any capitalist state.
From a strategic POV, this would ideally happen after the fall of the US or their position as global hegemon. As it stands, even if we hope for the eventual fall of capitalist Russia, it’s still a force against the US, hence the critical support.
