we tried getting rid of nukes (and other wmds) and all it did was embolden evil politicians like putin, trump and bibi to attack nations without them.

apparently humanity isn’t ready to live without the constant threat of annihilation or retaliation yet. it’s a shame, but those are the facts.

maybe we can try again in a few hundred years or maybe we will have removed ourselves from existence by then and another intelligent species will emerge from our radioactive ashes.

If our southern buddies are getting one, we want one too. All Baltic nations should have a nuke. It’s the most effective deterrent for our eastern neighbor.
