Over the weekend, the New York Times published a lengthy article revealing that the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022 was instigated by a systematic and widespread campaign of military-intelligence aggression on the part of the United States.

    Interesting. I wonder why are they publishing this now. Is it because the truth no longer matters and the propaganda damage will not be reverted? or is it something else? I don’t understand the timing here.

    Exactly. They posted how CIA helped them kill separatist leaders before the Russian separatists killed the general of the unit doing these assasinations.

    They posted how immediately after 2014 CIA was active in Ukraine.

    They posted how Ukraine is the largest CIA hub in 2021 outside the USA.

    But completely unprovoked.

    I can’t seem to find the NYT article this is referencing. There’s no link I can see in the WSWS article, and my web searches are only turning up the usual propaganda pieces.
