    Enfield’s director of public health is writing to every parent in the area as authorities attempt to contain the disease’s spread throughout London.

    How are they able to do this (find the parental status and contact information of every resident in an area)? Through the NHS?

    I’m pretty sure such an outreach campaign wouldn’t even be fully possible in the US. The closest you could manage would be to send letters through the schools, and that won’t catch everyone.
