With Ubuntu 25.10 “Questing Quokka,” we are taking a significant step forward in the evolution of the Ubuntu Desktop by removing the Xorg-based Ubuntu session.     I live in fear of distros like Debian shipping ancient drivers and having to listen to 3 more years of people saying Wayland does not work. Debian 13 may ship with NVIDIA 535 drivers.
