It’s funny - systems like tenure and residency training are awful deals for younger workers but were perpetuated because eventually you’ll probably have a sweet deal… with Trump threatening chaos people are being a lot more realistic about respecting themselves and not subjecting themselves to labor abuse for future promised rewards. I know a few professors that just got tenure and are fucking pissed that all that work might shortly be for naught.
