My objections are to people claiming that they are the working poor. That is beyond ridiculous.

The SALESFORCE EMPLOYEES are among the 1% of salary earners. Meanwhile they could make a very very comfortable living doing anything else. But they choose to serve Mark Benioff.

My whole post is about Salesforce employees. You can’t see that. If you acknowledge that I’m happy to be educated about SALESFORCE EMPLOYEES.

You know who else is the working class then? Managers working under oil execs, who own massive stake in the company. That’s our “labor class”??

By definition they are not the working poor. This isn’t subjective and inflation didn’t erase the upper middle class yet. Besides it’s missing the point to claim that ICE agents are excused from wrongdoing because they’re the working poor so therefore can’t work for someone else. This is no different. They are not the working poor who cannot afford to switch jobs.

They have a choice. They are not trapped in their labor class. They can work for other companies besides Salesforce…they can choose not to support ICE.

People who earn 200k/year are not the working poor. They are upper middle class or upper class. These things are not subjective, they are well defined.

Salesforce does not employ the working poor. They contract out to subcontractors for all their cleaning and cooking needs… Salesforce employees start at about $150k-$175k for the junior positions.

For them it’s a choice, not a need. There is a very very large experience and knowledge gap between our perspectives and I’m not going to spend my time bridging backwards while you try to frame Salesforce managers as being trapped in their labor class.

Open source didn’t crumble under the weight of inevitability. It fell apart because corporate interests profiting off of it decided it was more profitable to create cultures antithetical to the guardrails that open source presents to exploitation and co-option.

Yeah screw all those disabled people who benefit from it. We’ll just group them in with the other counterfactuals you have to ignore to maintain an opinion like yours.
