US can veto any toll hike over 10%
Either direction. If, say, we lower the tolls to below the “other” bridge I believe Trumporreah would veto that to keep the other bridge profitable.

Why so many pedantic idiots? Context lost?

Just because I am paranoid, doesn’t mean they are not out to get me

We have a pedestrian mall like this, have for decades. There are times when delivery vehicles are allowed to access, there are bollards that staff (of the mall) lower and raise (this is new in last decade or so)

This has a Ring to it I just can’t place
I’ll tell you what my 2 “smart” tvs do as they are not connected to the internet, they act as a slow to turn on display of my desktop. 27" monitor press power button, less than 10 seconds looking at desktop, 40" samsung smart tv 15-20+ seconds to see the desktop without a stupid overlay, 65" samsung 4k smart tv 30-45 seconds till desktop is fully visible.
TL:DR NONE! Use as a monitor

I was, had a vic 20 and c64
Not sure if it was preinstalled or I did it, but it was the first one I tried and it was so simple to use and setup. I don’t have the storage to do what you do, though that is a great approach I may look into when the nand prices return to the realm of reason
damn, maybe there is an ssd slot in there you are not aware of? I “found” a hard drive on a laptop I acquired (moms last hand-me-down), a 2tb ssd. Also had a similar laptop (dads) that only had an m.2 but there was a space for an ssd/hdd minus the ribbon cable. Yeah the cost of storage is idiotic now, hopefully something will come from the collusion/price fixing cases coming up against samsung/sk hynix/etc
I had bought a 2tb m.2 for my pc, then a month later purchased a 1tb m.2 (for a laptop I was giving to a friend) for about $30 more than I paid for the 2tb, a little over 2x the price for half the storage, YAY.

neurolink cautiously looks around a corner at you
and if you do something wrong you can break it.
So happy with timeshift, beautiful and just works, simple and fast
as a duel boot
I did that for about 6 months. BTW that is a perfectly apt typo, unless you meant it that way like I do. I got around the M$ bs by putting the boot loader for nix on its own drive and would physically choose boot device from the boot menu. Not ideal but it kept their grubby mitts off my boot loader while I used that pc
They are now, get ready for this and hold on to your tits, “Too big to fail”

Union dues are tax deductible where I am, quick ddg says no in the US?

Generous to say Bazzite installation takes 20 minutes
I’ve installed Kubuntu on several machines and it usually takes about that long, with updates.

We are not “normal” in this sense, I no longer build my own pc I go to my favourite local computer store and buy the parts and have them put it together, but I will never buy one that I did not choose the parts. Since I won’t be buying one I didn’t look at the warranty but would hope that it is at least 2 - 3 yrs (should be 5 but, yeah). Most people will simply send it off to steam and pay whatever the cost is. I was beating the hell out of my 3800 for 5 years (some VR games sent that cpu to the red line and stayed there for hours) and it is still a viable machine, owners just need to hope they don’t get a dud cause I don’t think these are off the shelf parts (cpu/gpu/mobo) so replacement will be difficult either way.

For people like you and me, sure, not worth it. I know at least 3 people that are getting one because it is better than what they have, they will never upgrade even the drive let alone ram. PC I upgraded from was a ryzen 7 3800 with a rtx 4070ti super, now on a ryzen 9 9950x with an rx 9070xt. Remember this is better than what many steam users have currently, and again, these people will just use it til it dies as is. Plus this gives devs a target hardware to code for to maximize their sales and optimize their games for (there are some indie devs that do care to optimize unlike the AAA types). If the system was going to go for the original price it would almost be worth it for a living room pc, if my pc wasn’t already filling the role.
Not sure who I was watching, Clause or Large Man Abroad, but one of them suggested this possibility and it seemed sound. Considering the difference in cost to the user it seems more sound, maybe we drop the rate to get even more traffic but doubt that we would as we want it paid off asarp. Though as usual the sound bite is more important than the actual facts and regardless of facts he will still shoot himself in the foot in the end (it really did sound bad for us at first). We just need to keep on shifting away until the states are not as important to us as they currently are
