I blame capitalism. It’s profitable to keep Americans stupid.
Our two countries are more similar than most Brits care to admit.
Depends where in the US you are going i guess but in general people aren’t openly racist to strangers. I can’t imagine you would have any issues. 2 years from now who knows, things are going to shit quicker than I could have ever imagined. People are going to be asking about your accent likely, we don’t meat Germans very often. I don’t think I have ever met one in person. I live in the middle of nowhere though. I’d guess most if any attention you get would be positive.
Do you speak Afrikaans? I’m an American who has a weird fascination with the worlds coolest Germanic language.
I was there because of multiple learning disabilities. I was smarter than most kids my age is the funny part. I just sucked at learning the way they taught us. My whole life people told me I’m smart but I never believed them until recently. I’m at the part of my life where I feel trapped now, partly because everyday I go to work with people dumber than sacks of shit and it takes a toll on me mentally. I’m told things get better.
It really doesn’t install anything you wouldn’t install yourself. The only thing I removed post-install was the Fish shell. I’ll stick with Zsh and Ksh thank you. I’m on Cachy, I’d be happy to help if you need anything.
How does one go about entering the exciting world of usenet?
I did not know that was a thing. Now I need to learn to read cyrillic esperanto as well. Thanks!
Lol, I had never heard of that before. That’s awesome!
Remember last time Redditor’s protested only to cave so they could keep being mods? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
