News@lemmy.world•Trump’s approval rating sinks to lowest point of his second term
71·1 month agoPlease stop blaming the people, they have been sequestered by the oligarch media, we have lost the fourth power, and that is the priority.
This polling results are damming in that direction, now only cultural revolution can brin this brainwashing down.
Let me try. So if someone is good at football, they will do good at football, does not matter if they have good values, if they are nice or if they are charitable.
Same in politics, if someone is charismatic, they will do good in politics, being ‘a good human’ is not part of the equation to advance in politics.
There are other skills involved in politics, but none of them is being a good human, sometimes a good a desirable skill is being perceived as a good human, but this skill has little overlap with being a good human.
Let me know if I managed to make my point.
Charisma is an asset, and as such it is traded. If you ever go into politics you will notice that it is a marketplace as any other.
TIL I learned to refer to my penises (both of them) in Nahuatl, Thank you!!!
All animals are mutated, some are more mutated than others
If I say “my penis”, it is likelier that I am talking about the one attached to me rather than the one I bought in the market.
People that never get called, I mean, other people, not me, a friend. A friend of a friend.
But in those examples, the bee is pollinating and the bird is conceiving, so it would make sense.
capitalism is nothing, it is just a dog whistle for the uneducated rebellious crybabies.
capitalism is just a buzzword, it does not exist.
corrupt corporate classes are present in all forms of societies.
Thank you for calling it for what it is, and not reusing the tired “Capitalism” trope.
I am tired of people blaming when it is indeed a corrupt corporate class.
This is the recurring problem i have between generalization and discrimination.
For example, women are, on average, more sociable, but that generalization can harm women who do not fit the majority. The same applies to men, who are often expected to be quieter or less expressive, which can be isolating for those who are not.
I don’t think generalizations are not inherently bad—they help us describe and understand patterns—but they are risky for exactly the reasons you point out.
Then you should call the mental hospital, not the police
I just gender it because it is my case, but it is true that it depends on each case. It is easier for me sometimes, it is easier for her others.

Come to this room sir, there is some thing we need to explain you.
