2. I believe lots of countries “in the middle” choose their continent. I know it’s the case for Russia and Turkey at least. Depending on the sports they’ll go be small fish in a big pond to improve or get paid more (UEFA typically is more interesting than other football leagues) or big fishes in a small pond, where they can get nice placements and, where relevant, qualify for the Olympics more easily.

If you’re used to Windows, I really recommend Linux Mint. I found it pretty easy to install, and once installed you sometimes almost forget you’ve changed your operating system :)

I had the same with my old roommate and we really liked it.

A tip: we used all-purpose dishwasher detergent, squirting it into the dishwasher and leaving the soap thing empty, and it worked just fine! Much cheaper and more convenient than their own.
