I don’t ActivityPub has any concept of communities, since even microblog-focused groups (like Guppe) work that way

The API updated with Lemmy 0.19.4. The old way has been marked for deletion and they’ve now followed through on that, but a few apps (presumably including Sync) haven’t updated to the new way yet

Any chance of an option to flip the upvote/downvote colors to the Lemmy ordering (blue up/red down)? It’s always a little jarring going between the app and website and seeing all my votes are backwards

It’s caused by a user on another non-Lemmy, non-Mastodon fediverse platform. The lemmy web UI doesnt have a problem with them, but I think Sync doesn’t know how to deal with displaying a username from an unfamiliar platform

• Fediverse: All the (ActivityPub-based) federated services with at least some degree of interoperability between each other
• Threadiverse: Subset of fediverse focused on threads-based discussion, like link aggregation/forums-style (as opposed to i.e. microblogging)
• Lemmyverse: Subset of threadiverse specifically running Lemmy (as opposed to i.e. Kbin)
