That’s ok! I was just curious 😊

Whoaaa multi-image?! Amazing!! Will it work retroactively? I’ve been posting to threadiverse comms from Pixelfed for years lol

Before you invest in a 3d printer, check your local public libraries! A lottttt of them have 3d printers these days

I can’t believe nobody’s brought up the classic FFX “haa haa haa haa!”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H47ow4_Cmk0
Yes, I know it’s supposed to be forced and awkward, but I still hated it as a kid lol
Oh wow, I missed this! Sweet

“best potato chips you’ve never* tasted.” 😭
I would like to though! This all looks amazing
Oooh, yes please!! I hope there’s lots of B.A.R. 😍

I’ve been crossposting my tofu-making posts from Pixelfed over to !food@beehaw.org lately, if that counts?

I guess some people are? Seems fairly inoffensive to me though

Ahhh I shoulda foreseen this… On many corners of Mastodon and Pixelfed, it’s generally expected that one should spoiler food posts, for various reasons. So since that’s where I posted this from, I did that with the spoiler text “food”. But that doesn’t show up here, it just says “nsfw” instead. 😅

Update, tried the fava bean one next. It’s good!
Oh wow, wasn’t expecting to be reminded of this today! I actually really liked this movie

Today, because my car is green 😝
I actually hate the attention it gets, but I’m poor and it was cheap. Never seems like a good idea to me if other drivers can easily remember you. On the other hand, I can always find it in a big parking lot.

Yeahh that’s very true… Seems to take me about 3 hours on average, minus the waits for soaking and pressing and such. Probably not the most sensible kitchen endeavor but it is fun!

Sorry! it’s green split pea milk, I honestly thought it looked pretty appealing. 😅 Here’s a direct link: https://pxlmo.com/p/MxRemy/1003448388456219205
I used gypsum/calcium sulfate, and if it has a flavor I haven’t really noticed it? Seeeems pretty mild. I’ve heard some of the others are way more noticeable, like definitely vinegar.

I haven’t tried the amylase thing yet! Definitely gotta pick some of that up, because it seems like half the stuff she tries turns out pretty starchy lol. Seems really helpful. Maybe she’ll go back and retry some of the old failed attempts from before the amylase came around, that’d be cool to see.
For the native stuff, I’d like to say I’ll carefully weigh and measure and film every step like she does, but I’m also pretttyyyy lazy lol. I’ll try though! Working on dehulling a bunch of bundleseed right now actually, but it might not be enough to make tofu this year. We’ll see, fingers crosseddd

Oh dang, I missed this befire posting, sorry… Would have put [homemade]. I do think it’s a great idea!
