8·19 days agoYour viewpoint is far fetched. We don’t care about OnlyOffice anymore. EuroOffice is a hard fork. I would say it couldn’t have been solved better. There are no more “ties” whatsoever.
Third one should say: “I have no owner”

3·22 days agoThe stock market is made up, but not ruled, by numbers. Engineers are often overestimating themselves, specially in politics. Being good in the one thing doesn’t mean being good at all other things.

Or in other words: only those, who are already masters, should use it.
Good point there with the fear of death. Fear runs us like it’s our fuel.
Is there even any AI anywhere? I 've never seen any. No company has any AI to offer. Am I missing something? I know only LLM, ANN, ML, DL and so on…

Technology@lemmy.ml•Motorola's GrapheneOS phones will launch in 2027 priced higher than Pixels
1·1 month agoMy experience was that phones lasted two to three days back in the day. Before "smart"phones it would be easily a whole week.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•People who dress "nicely" to travel through airports, why?
6·1 month agoIt’s never about me, it’s about others. In airports you are subject to others. It’s a security dictatorship. Really don’t get why my comment gets downvoted. Seems some people can not accept how superficial people are in reality. “Clothes makes people” is as old as clothes are.

Android@lemdro.id•GrapheneOS: The initial devices with GrapheneOS support should be available in 2027. The initial devices will be flagships so they'll be higher end hardware than Pixels at a higher price.English
1·1 month agoCurrently a Boox. They have a temperature slider. I am actually testing different e-ink devices from different manufacturers. OLED is shit in the bright sunlight, compared to e-ink. It’s my favorite thing to do with e-ink: reading outside. Really has the kind of paper characteristics to it.

1·1 month agoEverything has pros and cons. Try OLED in the sun. To me refresh rates and numb coloring are irrelevant to what I need to do on a daily basis. Most of my work on the phone is speech and reading/texting anyways.

4·1 month ago“Democratisation of air travel” … Puhhh … It’s a fucking nightmare considering you are giving up almost every individual right when flying with commercial airlines.

1·1 month agoIt’s not a first for Motorola, neither for Graphene devs. We’ll see how they’ll perform! There is always the last resort of just dumping the "smart"phone alltogether.

1·1 month agoDid it improve? Seems not. An e-ink display would improve it.

Where did they meet? How is that possible? Genuinely wondering.
