I also only game on my home PC and I’ve been using it for over a year now with Linux. I play CS 2, WOWS and Battletech mainly but check protondb.com for your games. My kids are also using Linux and they also were able to play everything they wanted.
There are a few AAA games with cheat protection that won’t work. Other than that: It’s awesome and you feel the freedom instantly!
A song called Krustenficker. I really like the beat but I can’t hear it with my kids in range for eh. textual reasons, since they do speak german …
Sorry, but that is far from correct. Of course you can throttle wind and solar production if you want, but the problem of to much energy is a nice to have. You could create Hydrogen or desalinate water in large scales if you got energy left over Regarding nuclear power: If you calculate the cost of nuclear and include that you need to store the waste for thousands of years it’s not cheap either. And you also need to source the fuel from somewhere. Uranium is not abundant. And also it takes 20 years to build an new plant. By then it will be even lest cost effective. Rather continue with wind and solar and then batteries for the money.
Technically this can’t be true since the best thing for the planet is if you die instantly and do not consume any more resources at all. So the best diet for the planet is killing you. But I get the point.
