

On the one hand, states do need a kick in the ass to remind them that arresting federal agents for wrongdoing is in fact a good thing. On the other, cops are pretty bad at policing their own internally, let alone other units. Even if they’re competent in their attempts to maintain a presence, it will be a massive drain on local resources. I feel like any police presence will need to come with full support of a states attorney general to recoup money spent from fed.






Which would make a progressive victory all the sweeter.
